Stretton College Junior State School

A small unusually shaped shade structure for one of Queensland’s largest schools

Stretton College is a metropolitan P-12 school with over 3,200 students spread over two rambling campuses.

Spantech won a tender to design and construct a small and unusually shaped shade structure nestled between several existing buildings at the Junior College Campus.

The slim-line roof design was achieved with the Spantech Pinkenba 370 roofing profile. The smooth clean lines of the Pinkenba profile are visible as an exposed ceiling. The profile is clad with a conventional Colorbond roof. This clever configuration combines to conceal the supporting structure and insulation, and achieves large unsupported spans.
