RedBull Powder Company is New Zealand’s leading provider of blasting services for quarries, mines and construction sites. The company’s primary manufacturing, drilling, blasting and technical support services are located just outside Auckland.

RedBull Powder engaged Spantech NZ Limited under a single-select, negotiated contract to design and construct a 100 tonne Ammonium Nitrate Storage Facility. The building replaced shared facilities and has significantly increase RedBull’s overall storage capacity and capabilities.

With Spantech’s depth of experience, the brief was refreshingly simple: Design a secure facility to store up to 100 pallets of ammonium nitrate to comply with AS 2187 Explosives - Storage, transport and use, Part 1: Storage.
