Port Taranaki Bulk Grain Store
Spantech designed and constructed the wide-span roof for a major bulk grain store at Port Taranaki, New Plymouth
This is the first of a series of projects Spantech has constructed in New Zealand for ABB Grain.
The Port Taranaki Bulk Grain Store, in New Plymouth includes two buildings with a common centre wall. The facility is covered with 7,600 square meters of Spantech Pinkenba 370 curved free spanning roof.
Spantech’s scope of works included engineering design of the roof and roof connection, supply and install the Spantech roof, endwalls, curved canopy roofs over the main doors, skylights, vents, gutters and flashings.
