Architects make curved free-span shade structures a feature of this rapidly growing college

Over several years Spantech has been contracted to build an eclectic collection of shade structures at Citipointe Christian College. While the design of each shade structure is unique, the theme helps unify the school’s outdoor spaces.

Scope

The project includes three shade structures:

• A shade structure over a 25 metre swimming pool which extends over a dividing block wall to also cover a single basketball court

• A high level shade structure over the primary school quadrant which is surrounded by existing two storey classrooms

• A shade structure over an informal teaching area used by senior school students.
