Spantech designed and constructed several mission critical buildings for the F-35A Joint Strike Fighter Project at RAAF Base Williamtown.

PREPARING FOR ARRIVAL OF THE F-35A

Spantech was contracted by Lend Lease to design and construct several essential buildings at RAAF Base Williamtown.

The project was part of the billion dollar Air 6000 Phase 2A/B – New Air Combat Capability (NACC) Facilities Project.

The works at RAAF Base Williamtown included an F-35A Operational Precinct, runway pavement upgrades, explosive ordnance preparation facilities, engineering infrastructure and replacement of displaced elements.

Spantech’s Scope of Works

Spantech was contracted to design and construct the Explosive Ordnance Facilities which include:

• High Explosive Ordnance Preparation Facilities

• Ammunition and Counter-Measure Preparation Facilities, and

• Ordnance Handling and Loading Facilities
